| Located on a cul de sac with large yards, the area is safe for children pets and bikes. The whole family plus the dog will enjoy the wide open space of Essex, MA. Click on the house (to the right) to locate the Essex Causeway with its many restaurants and antique shops that fringe the edge of the Essex River. From 1632 until recent times, more than 4,500 ocean sailing vessels were built in the 8 to 10 ship yards that lined the Essex River. The Essex Ship Building Museum has a renowned collection of ship building tools and history. There are over 50 antique shops in Essex. Five historic farm properties are open to the public within two miles of Essex. |

More Photos - Things to Do - Year 2009 Rates/Availability Top - Home - Reservations - Miles River Country Inn Directions to Riverview Hill, Massachusetts:From the West by Route 128: Route 128 to School Street, Exit 15, which puts you onto Southern Avenue. Go north roughly 2 miles to Route 133 intersection in Essex. Turn left onto Route 133, through the Town of Essex and up a hill towards Ipswich. As you come down the hill, turn right just before Ernie's Service Station onto Spring Street. Follow signs for Essex River Cruises and Essex Marina turning right onto Dodge Street. Take the first left turn onto Riverview Hill Road. Drive up the hill and the condos are the middle house with the circular drive on the right. Harborview is the first driveway. Marshview is the second driveway. Coming west from Ipswich on Route 133: Follow Route 133 from Ipswich until you enter Essex. As the road turns to the left you will see Ernie's Service Station on the left. Turn left onto Spring Street, then first right onto Dodge Street following signs for the Essex River Cruises and Essex Marina. Take the first left onto Riverview Hill Road. Drive up the hill and the condos are the middle house with the circular drive on the right. Harborview is the first driveway. Marshview is the second driveway.
